Deleting it yourself

Sign in, open your profile, and choose Delete my account at the bottom of the page. It takes effect immediately.

What gets erased

Your name, profile photo, email address, WhatsApp number and IC number are erased. Your saved watchlist and any maximum bids you had set are deleted. You will no longer be able to sign in, including through Google or Facebook.

What stays, and why

Bids you placed and auctions you took part in remain on record, with no name attached to them. We keep these because other people's auction history depends on them: removing a bid would change the recorded price of an auction someone else won, and would leave gaps in the bidding record of items that are not yours.

Nothing that remains identifies you.

Before you can delete

If you have a listing that is live or waiting for approval, or you are the highest bidder on an auction that has not closed, you will be asked to wait until those finish. This is so nobody is left without a buyer or a seller partway through a sale.
